In Auxilium, we designed Ruin Guardians to feel like living, reactive colossi. Every major boss mechanic has a distinct audiovisual telegraph, an interactive environmental counter, and an elemental reaction vulnerability that can be exploited by the right familiar team composition.
Every lethal boss attack features at least a 1.5-second visual charge tell with distinct ground hazard indicators so players always have time to dodge, parry, or trigger a kindred barrier.
Located at the heart of the Stoneheart Basin ruins, the Aegis Colossus is an ancient construct powered by a dual Earth-and-Lightning core.

The Stone Colossus executes heavy sweeping fist smashes and ground shockwaves. Dodge through telegraph red circles and target the glowing chest core.
Volcanic vents erupt around the arena perimeter. The Colossus charges a screen-wide Molten Slam that requires all 3 party members to break posture with staggered parries.
The Colossus detaches molten fists as autonomous kinetic projectiles while raining meteorites. Use familiar elemental reactions (Water + Fire Vaporize) to extinguish magma armor.
